Rhone

Rhone is generally divided into two sub-regions with distinct vinicultural traditions, Northern Rhone and Southern Rhone. Northern Rhone produces reds from Syrah grape, blended with up to 20% of white wine grapes, and white wines from Marsannne, Roussanne and Viognier grapes. Southern Rhone produces an array of reds and whites often blends of several grapes such as in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
