Perhaps no bottle captures Xavier Vignon's spirit better than Cuvée Anonyme. One of the first creations from Xavier Vignon, made from vines co-planted amongst the region's oldest vines. The exact blend remains unknown, hence the name 'Anonyme', which is French for 'Anonymous'. Sourced from 100-year-old vines, from prime, galet-strewn terroirs, Anonyme 2017 has earned an impressive 95-97 points from Parker’s Wine Advocate. Jeb Dunnuck chimed in too, raving about Anonyme’s “sexy personality” and “sensational balance.” Cuvée Anonyme is selected from some of Xavier Vignon's best client’s best barrels, which he takes in lieu of payment when he finds wines of extraordinary quality. It is impossible to give the exact blend proportions of this vintage, which comes from 'collection vineyards', where numerous grape varieties are planted together; Centenarian Grenache, Vaccarèse, Counoise, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Terret Noir and Muscardin.
