The Brut Nature 2006 cuvée is the fruit of several convergences: between a historic terroir and a remarkable year, and between a Champagne House that respects nature and a creative genius with a free spirit.

Appearance: Golden and deep yellow hue sparkles with luminous highlights as the bubbles rise.
Aroma: The bouquet is intense and precise, and notes of spring flowers, pear, and citrus peel gradually emerge.
Palate: In the mouth, the wine is a rich array of flavours, youthful energy, and dynamism, with a wonderful blend and juxtaposition of acids, salinity, stones, fruit, and a creamy texture.

RP 91: "The 2006 Brut Nature is Roederer's first non-malolactic, zero dosage vintage Champagne; it is equipped with a distinctive label from French designer Philippe Starck. Based on 55% Pinot Noir, 25% Meunier and 20% Chardonnay from late ripening plots on dark clay soils in Cumières (which are picked and processed together), the Brut Nature shows a great purity and freshness on the delicate nose. Pure, lean and mineral on the palate, this is a finesse-full and very straight, lemon-fresh and tension-filled fizz with a very good finish. "

Wine Spectator 93: "Sleek and minerally, this firm Champagne is softened by a swathe of silky texture, offering a tapestry of persimmon, pear, chalk and lemon zest flavors, with rich hints of pastry and chopped almond. Graceful and ethereal, this features a lasting saline impression that echoes on the finish. Drink now through 2026."
