" The 2011 Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Spelt wraps around the palate with serious depth and texture.  White stone fruits, almonds and flowers are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass as this expressive, layered wine shows off its considerable personality.   This is a gorgeous white from La Valentina.   La Valentina is a great source for flavorful reds that emphasize the richness Montepulciano is capable of.   The whites are newer to me, but they are equally delicious, and great values too."- Tasted on Feb 28, 2013 by Antonio Galloni.
