Using eight handpicked whiskies from the four corners of Scotland, including three irreplaceable “ghost” whiskies and five incredibly rare expressions from the johnnie walker blue label reserves.

The fourth in this much talked about limited edition series, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich, draws on rare casks from the legendary Speyside “ghost” distillery of Pittyvaich, a hidden treasure of the whisky world, which closed its doors in 1993 after only 18 years. Other “ghost” whiskies from Port Dundas and Carsebridge distilleries are balanced with exceptional rare single malts.

Taste:
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich has sweet fruit notes of fresh apple, gathering with the autumnal flavours of Pittyvaich. It’s a beautifully balanced whisky, with the delicate subtle sweetness of honeycomb and soft wood from the “ghost” whiskies of Port Dundas and Carsebridge. Other very rare whiskies bring aromas of dark fruit and berries before revealing gentle butterscotch, stewing orchard fruits and a dash of cinnamon.
