Highland Park was named 'Best Spirit in the World' by USA whisky expert Paul Pacult in his 2005, Spirit Journal 100 listing of the world's best 100 distilled spirits. Highland Park's award-winning quality has its roots in the whisky's Orkney home and the obsession of the people who craft it. Highland Park 12 Year Old whiskey remains one of the gold-standard malts for other distillery bottlings to aspire to. 

Nose: One of the world's most subtle and teasing noses: delicate wafts of smoke mingle effortlessly with sweet malt, a hint of oaky salt, apples, old polished leather and trademark heather.
Palate: Intensely malty and fresh at first, and then the lingering smoky depth adds weight. Fabulous bitter-sweet balance which pans out on the sweet side with a gentle build-up of honey.
Finish: Teasing. Long, smoky with a heathers dryness and spice. Delicious.
