Dongqu Primary Single Vintage Shaoxing Wine 2009 is a traditional Shaoxing rice wine crafted from exceptional ingredients. This wine is aged for over a decade in deep mountain cellars, allowing it to develop a rich character and faithfully reflect the region's terroir. Flowers, plums and honey. Very complex.

Dong Qu was founded by several young entrepreneurs who are passionate about Shaoxing rice wine. They are committed to bringing the most traditional and top-notch Shaoxing handmade rice wine to the market. Dong Qu only makes wines in outstanding years - these wines are aged in the deep mountain cellars for more than ten years, and can can faithfully reflect the terroir of the region. By the end of 2023, Dong Qu had launched four single-year works in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2009 First Filter.

Tasting Notes: Clear deep amber color with a full aroma of citrus. Combined with aged tangerine peel and aloeswood. The acidity is bright and long-lasting, with a noticeable aftertaste and a smooth and silky mouthfeel.

Food pairing: Steamed crabs with rice wine and cooking wine are fragrant: Whether crabs are steamed, dry-roasted or stir-fried, they are inseparable from the combination of rice wine and cooking wine. 品酒筆記
