 2020 Château Calon Ségur unveils a pure gold masterpiece with a heavenly bouquet of red and black currants, truffly earth, iron, espresso, and tobacco leaf. This deep, pure, and layered wine, blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, exudes incredible purity of fruit, full-bodied richness, and ultra-fine tannins. With a perfumed nose and ripe fruit aromas, the palate is silky, balanced, and energetic, revealing plump blackcurrant, cherry, and plum flavors complemented by a mineral essence. Aged in new oak for 20 months, this wine marries finesse with richness, and elegance with longevity, promising a remarkable aging potential of 40-50 years.
