The Glendronach was one of Scotland’s earliest legally licensed distilleries, founded in 1826, and has built a renowned reputation for sherry cask–matured single malt Scotch whisky. Established by James Allardice beside the River Burn at Boynesmill House, the distillery has remained dedicated to traditional craftsmanship for nearly two centuries.

Renowned for its deep, complex flavors, The Glendronach launched its flagship 12‑, 15‑, and 18‑year‑old expressions in 2009, earning global acclaim. Today, under the ownership of Brown‑Forman and the guidance of Master Blender Rachel Barrie, the distillery continues to honor its heritage while embracing a refreshed bottle design in 2024 to meet growing worldwide demand.

The Glendronach 15 Year Old is matured in fine Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía, quietly growing in stature for fifteen years in the darkness of our dunnage warehouses.

Tasting note: this whisky gleams with an antique copper hue kissed by golden light. The nose is met with an intoxicating burst of maraschino cherry, ripe bramble, and dark chocolate mint, delicately underscored by hints of orange bitters and walnut liqueur. On the palate, it opens with luscious honey-glazed apricot and ripe fig, building to a rich crescendo of black cherry, earthy angelica, and deep, molasses-like muscovado.

 2026 Year of the Horse Gift Box is a special collaboration between sherry cask expert The Glendronach and Chinese master artist Xu Beihong. The gift set features his iconic galloping horse—symbolizing strength and vitality—alongside the whisky and two premium tumblers, merging Eastern art and Western craftsmanship into a luxurious collectible.

品飲筆記：酒色呈現古銅色澤，泛著溫潤金光。香氣奔放而迷人，洋溢著黑櫻桃利口酒、熟透黑莓與黑巧克力薄荷的馥郁芬芳，並巧妙點綴橙味苦精與核桃利口酒的細緻韻味。口感層次豐盈，初現蜂蜜燉杏桃與熟透無花果的柔滑甜美，繼而綻放黑櫻桃、當歸草本氣息與深邃如糖蜜的馬斯喀瓦多糖風味，結構複雜而和諧，餘韻綿長且極具滿足感。
