Legacy Peak Vineyard is located at an altitude of 1246m, in the beautiful scenic area of the Xixia King Tombs (Ningxia Province), and is one of the very few vineyards in China with vines over 18 years old. The vineyard is composed of 17 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, 3 acres of Merlot and 2 acres of Chardonnay, all planted by Liu Hai’s father in 1997. In 2010, Liu Hai took over the estate with the ambition to make the best wine of Ningxia. In 2014, the first launched item ‘Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2011’ was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal at the CWSA - China Wine& Spirits Awards, followed by the 2012 vintage taking the Silver Medal from DWWA 2015 - Decanter World Wine Awards. ‘Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2012’ has also been selected for the Bettane + Desseauve Yearly Wine Guide 2016. 

Tasting Notes:
“Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot bring rich aromas of strawberries, red plums and green peppers. Merlot brings a soft while firm mouth feel, with balanced acidity, and a long finish. After decanting 1 hour, the aroma changes from the sharp aciddity to the silky fruit aroma, which is soft and ample.”

留世酒庄葡萄園位於海拔1246m，風景秀麗的寧夏西夏王陵景區內，是中國極少數擁有18年以上藤蔓的葡萄園之一。葡萄園由17英畝的赤霞珠、3英畝的梅洛和2英畝的霞多麗組成，全部由劉海的父親於1997年種植。2010年，劉海接手酒莊，立志打造寧夏最好的葡萄酒。2014年，首個推出的產品“Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2011”在CWSA - 中國葡萄酒及烈酒大賽中榮獲金獎，隨後2012年份在DWWA 2015 - Decanter世界葡萄酒大賽中榮獲銀獎。“Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2012”還被選入《Bettane + Desseauve 2016 年年度葡萄酒指南》。

品酒筆記：
赤霞珠和梅洛散發着濃郁的草莓、紅李子和青椒的香氣。梅洛帶來柔軟而堅定的口感，酸度平衡，回味悠長。醒酒1小時後，香氣由尖鋭的酸味變為絲滑的果香，柔和而濃郁。
