Legacy Peak Vineyard is located at an altitude of 1246m, in the beautiful scenic area of the Xixia King Tombs (Ningxia Province), and is one of the very few vineyards in China with vines over 18 years old. The vineyard is composed of 17 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, 3 acres of Merlot and 2 acres of Chardonnay, all planted by Liu Hai’s father in 1997. In 2010, Liu Hai took over the estate with the ambition to make the best wine of Ningxia. In 2014, the first launched item ‘Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2011’ was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal at the CWSA - China Wine& Spirits Awards, followed by the 2012 vintage taking the Silver Medal from DWWA 2015 - Decanter World Wine Awards. ‘Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2012’ has also been selected for the Bettane + Desseauve Yearly Wine Guide 2016.

Tasting Notes: 
The wine is aged in oak barrels for more than 22 months, supervised by both the winemaker and the winery owner with extra attention. The wine presents an intense bright ruby color, full of violets and blueberries aromas, plus the butter tint is perfectly combined in it. The palate is silky and firm, recalling the satisfaction when a piece of chocolate is melted in your mouth.

留世酒庄葡萄園位於海拔1246m，風景秀麗的寧夏西夏王陵景區內，是中國極少數擁有18年以上藤蔓的葡萄園之一。葡萄園由17英畝的赤霞珠、3英畝的梅洛和2英畝的霞多麗組成，全部由劉海的父親於1997年種植。2010年，劉海接手酒莊，立志打造寧夏最好的葡萄酒。2014年，首個推出的產品“Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2011”在CWSA - 中國葡萄酒及烈酒大賽中榮獲金獎，隨後2012年份在DWWA 2015 - Decanter世界葡萄酒大賽中榮獲銀獎。“Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2012”還被選入《Bettane + Desseauve 2016 年年度葡萄酒指南》。

品酒筆記：
葡萄酒在橡木桶中陳釀超過22個月，由釀酒師和酒莊老闆格外用心地監督。這款酒呈現出強烈明亮的紅寶石色，充滿紫羅蘭和藍莓的香氣，加上黃油的色調完美地結合在一起。口感絲滑而緊實，令人回想起一塊巧克力在口中融化時的滿足感。
