Kilchoman Madeira Cask Matured 2021 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky: Founder Anthony Wills, known for his preference for first-fill fortified wine barrels, has crafted a remarkable expression in this five-year and three-month-aged whisky in fresh Madeira hogsheads. With a rich array of flavors, from smokey fruit cake to dark chocolate, allspice, and a hint of maritime freshness, this limited release of 17,000 bottles offers a slightly richer finish than most Kilchomans, culminating in notes of pipe tobacco, white pepper, and a mezcal-like smokiness.
