A rainy autumn was followed by an exceptionally hot and dry winter. The warm spring brought high humidity, creating ideal conditions for an early bud break, occurring two weeks ahead of schedule. However, cool and humid weather in April and May raised concerns about vineyard health. By mid-May, flowering began under favorable conditions. June remained cool, while summer transitioned to hot and dry weather. Strategic vineyard management practices, such as light leaf stripping, shallow plowing, and a tailored green harvest for each vine, facilitated a gradual vegetative cycle. Adequate water reserves from spring rains protected the vineyard from stress and enhanced ripening. The resulting grapes were of exceptional quality, showcasing aromatic freshness, texture, and density.
