Cartizze is the name that identifies an area of 106 hectares in the municipality of Valdobbiadene. The most common theory regarding the origin of the name is that it derives from ‘gardizze’, a local term for the racks used to dry grapes. Grown in the area around the villages of ‘Saccol’, ‘San Pietro di Barbozza’ and ‘Santo Stefano’, Cartizze always displays a youthful, fruity nose and delicate taste. While Cartizze often contains higher residual sugar levels, it usually comes across as fairly dry. Contains 25 grams per liter of residual sugar.

Tasting Note: The style is full, rich, with a definite sweetness on the palate. Ripe red apples mixed with dried apricots. Fresh and balance with a sweet supple finish. Fruit pies, fresh strawberries or pastries would all work here. Delicious.

Rating: 94 Points by Decanter

飲酒筆記:酒體飽滿,濃郁,口感十足。散發着成熟紅蘋果與杏甫嘅香氣。味道清新而平衡,甜美柔和。而且有濃郁嘅水果味,如新鮮草莓同甜點香味等。
