Situated in the Dove Mountain Area, in the heart of the Helan Mountain Wine Region, Xige Estate currently owns a total of 2,000 hectares of planted vines. 

As Fine Wine producer with scale, Xige's Philosophy is to combine Modern Technology with the Respect of Nature, to constantly explore the Potential and the Future of Ningxia Terroir.

Founded in 2017 by Zhang Yanzhi, Xige Estate is a young winery that is challenging & leading the development of a New Era of Chinese Fine Wine.  Zhang is the holder of France National Enology Diploma (DNO) and Bordeaux ISVV Winemaker Diploma. He embrace one goal to heart: to make wines that show  "A PURE EXPRESSION OF HELAN MOUNTAIN TERROIR".

“藤上藤”dry red wine is a blend of the "King of Red Grape Varieties" - Cabernet Sauvignon, with the "Chinese indigenous variety" - Longyan Zhu. It brings excellent structure, concentration, complexity, and aging potential, while also exhibiting a super delicate, elegant, and balanced style.

James Suckling 92 points: "This wine shows good complexity and development, with nuanced cedar to the minty fruit and sweet tobacco leaves. Sweet berries on the palate, which is rounded by smooth tannins. Very long, creamy and savory finish. Just a little too pleasing and generous in the end, but this is by far the most complex and savory offering from Xige this year.  Approaching its peak, so drink now through 2024."

西鴿酒莊成立於2017年，是中國最令人興奮的新興葡萄酒項目之一。西鴿酒莊是一個全新的、現代化的釀酒廠，擁有超過1300公頃的葡萄園，其中有1000多公頃都種植著擁有20年成熟期的葡萄藤。這鞏固了他們的快速成功，成為中國同行中領先的優質葡萄酒品牌之一。西鴿酒莊由張言志擔任首席釀酒師創立，他曾是張裕酒業的釀酒師。與他一起的是克里斯泰爾·舒涅（Christelle Chene），她出生於勃艮第，曾在中國擔任出口銷售總監，並致力於向全世界推廣寧夏葡萄酒以及中國葡萄酒。

西鴿酒莊的葡萄酒在國際上引起了關注，中國國家主席習近平在會見4月訪華的法國總統馬克龍時，選擇了西鴿赤霞珠與蛇龍珠混釀的葡萄酒。在此之前，西鴿酒莊也已經在國際葡萄酒界佔據了一席之地，當時酒莊向英國出口了價值12.4萬英鎊的一批葡萄酒，打破了寧夏單批葡萄酒出口價值最高的記錄。

「藤上藤」乾紅酒採用26年樹齡的葡萄樹「紅葡萄品種之王」赤霞珠和「中國特有品種」蛇龍珠勾兌而成。 它帶來了非常好的結構感、濃度、複雜性和陳年性，以及超精細、優雅和平衡。

這款酒展現出良好的複雜性和發展性，細緻的雪松味道與薄荷果和甜煙草葉相結合。口感上帶有甜美的漿果，並由柔順的單寧烘托出豐滿的口感。非常悠長、奶油般的口感和鹹味收尾。最終稍嫌過於迷人和慷慨，但這無疑是西鴿（Xige）今年最複雜和風味豐富的葡萄酒。現在已接近巔峰期，可以在2024年前飲用。 ——於2021年11月29日品嚐
