Tasting Note :
Dark red with crimson hue. Blue & black fruits dominate on the nose with hints of pepper spice. The palate are rich, thanks to the unusual warm-ish & dry year of 2019 harvest in Shanxi. The tannin stay fine and balance with great amount of natural acidity. Persistence finish.

“Grace’s 2019 Tasya's Reserve Marselan has a moderate to deep purple appearance typical of this variety. On the nose, there is some attractive, perfumed, ripe blueberry, black cherry and damson fruit with a touch of violet and a hint of new oak (the 2019 vintage saw around 30% new French small-format oak for some 15 months). On the palate, the 2019 Tasya's Reserve Marselan is full-bodied with coating tannins, fairly well-integrated 15.5% alcohol, some lifting acidity and an attractive core of vinous Marselan fruit complemented by that hint of savory new oak. With its shorter to moderate length, this has a livelier, more vinous character than the 2018 vintage but is similar in quality and is drinking well now.” - Tasted on Jan 14 2022 by Edward Ragg
