Mystic Island Winery was founded in 2008 as a boutique winery that integrates humanities, arts, and ecology. The winery is located in a small valley in the core area of the Lotus Grape Wine Region on the Penglai Fairy Island in Yantai, Shandong Province, China. This region is known for its fertile soil and unique climate that is ideal for growing grapes. Penglai originated from the legend of "San Shen Shan" (Three Gods Mountain) on the sea, also known as "Penglai Fairy Island", a mysterious place. The founder of the winery named it "Mystic Island" after this mythical location.

Winemaking
The Petit Verdot of Mystic Winery comes from 11 small terraced plots with a total planting area of 5.73 mu. The rainfall in 2021 was significantly higher than in previous years, and the harvest time of Petit Verdot was delayed by 10 days. To obtain the optimum maturity of grapes, the winery uses an automated stem remover to separate the mature berries from the stem. These berries are then gently transferred into the fermentation tank. The must is then cold-soaked to extract color and flavor compounds from the skins. The fermentation is controlled to provide elegant tannins and fine body structure. MLF was completed in new French oak barrels and the wine was aged for a further 11 months before clarification and bottling.

This wine is made from 2021 Petit Verdot. Ruby red color and ripe aromas of blackberry and black plum combine with violet, lavender, and dried herbs together with toasty oak notes. The palate is full-bodied with firm tannin and natural acidity with supporting flavors of cinnamon spices and a long finish.

仙島酒莊創建於2008年是一家將人文、藝術、生態融為一體的精品酒莊。酒莊坐落在山東省煙台蓬萊仙島葡萄酒產區的核心小產區一丘山山谷。這裡以肥沃的土壤和獨特的氣候聞名,非常適合種植葡萄。蓬萊起源於海上 “三神山” 的傅說,又被稱為“蓬萊仙島”,是一個有著神秘色彩的地方,創始人便以“Mystic Island-仙烏酒莊,為酒莊命名。

釀造工藝:
仙島酒莊的小味兒多來自於11個小型丘陵梯田式地塊,總種植面積為5.73畝。2021年份的降雨量較往年明顯增加,小味兒多的採收期推遲了10天。爲了獲取成熟度最佳的葡萄果穗,酒莊採用人工除梗,摘取圓潤飽滿果粒。果粒不經破碎,直接緩慢倒入發酵罐。發酵前進行低溫冷浸漬,提取顏色和保留新鮮果香;發酵過程配合輕柔壓帽,整個發酵過程缓慢進行,以獲取優雅細膩的單寧和完整的酒體結構;完成浸漬後將葡萄酒導入至全新法國橡木桶,在桶中完成蘋果酸乳酸發酵,同時帶酒泥陳釀11個月。

本品精選仙島酒莊2021年小味兒多發酵而成。寳石紅色,黑莓、黑李子的成熟果香結合著紫羅蘭、薰衣草、甘草香,與烘烤香交織融合。酒體飽滿,單寧堅實,酸度自然,伴有肉桂香料的味道且餘味悠長。
