The flagship of the Despagne family, this vineyard has always produced excellent white wines. A blend of Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle, it’s a fresh and pleasant wine, with very strong citrus aromas and delicious notes of passion fruit. The attack is lively and straightforward, smooth yet crispy at the same time, with very lightly nuanced undertones of pepper.
For 25 years British Airways chose Château Tour de Mirambeau to keep its passengers company, helping their wines become internationally renowned.
Riding the wave of its success, Château Tour de Mirambeau has been able to offer another line called “Cuvée Passion”, produced in particular with grapes from specially selected parcels.

Tasting Note: The 2017 Château Tour de Mirambeau Cuvée Passion Blanc has a lifted gooseberry and nettle-scented bouquet that is nicely defined. The palate is fresh and crisp with a keen thread of acidity, satisfying weight in the mouth and it fans out with confidence on the gooseberry and fresh pear-driven finish. This comes recommended - a delight.
